The NBA has been struck hard by COVID-19 as of late, forcing teams to expand their rosters and dive deeper into the player pool in order to find contributors.
That helped Aleem Ford a few weeks ago, as the Orlando Magic signed him and have subsequently played him in five games thus far.

Now there is another former Badger to add to the NBA list, as Micah Potter was signed by the Detroit Pistons.
The two-year starter at Wisconsin has spent much of the season with Miami’s G-League affiliate in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. He’ll now join a Detroit team that sits at 5-27 on the season—good for last in the league.
