Florida football is back on the recruiting trail after a short lull in the action, and while the Gators are getting a plethora of prep prospects on campus this spring, Billy Napier and Co. are also filling out their summer official visit schedule as well.
One of the big names that recently scheduled a trip to Gainesville this summer is five-star wide receiver [autotag]Dallas Wilson[/autotag] out of Tampa (Florida) Tampa Bay Tech in the 2025 cycle. The 6-foot-3-inch, 180-pound pass-catcher is currently committed to the Oregon Ducks as of Jan. 17, 2023, but appears to still be testing the waters for better opportunities.
“I’ve been opening my eyes up to other schools more and more and seeing what’s going on with them just to get a feel for it,” Wilson said to InsideTheU after a recent visit there this month. I don’t know how it’s going to end up in the end. I still like Oregon, but I’m considering other schools–Miami one of them.”
His visit date is set for the weekend of June 14-16. He also has visits planned to Miami the weekend of June 7-9 and with Oregon the weekend of June 21-23.
As far as other schools still in the hunt for his talents, he offered up several suggestions earlier this month.
“Miami, shoutout to them boys,” Wilson told 247Sports. “Florida State. The Gator boys. Tennessee. We’ve got Clemson coming hard. Auburn. There’s a couple more.”
The high school junior’s recruitment has been spearheaded by wide receivers coach Billy Gonzales and assistant wide receiver David Doeker, along with an assist to Napier.
“I talk to them a lot through the phone, and you can feel the energy from them,” he told 247Sports. “In person though, it’s way more better. They are the type of people to being the energy out you. They make you have a good feeling when you’re talking to them. They all make you feel good.”

Wilson is ranked No. 22 overall and No. 5 at his position nationally according to the 247Sports composite while the On3 industry ranking has him at Nos. 25 and 5, respectively.
