Texas is hoping to have the opportunity to host five-star outside linebacker Harold Perkins for a visit on June 18.
Perkins is the No. 1 player at his position in the 2022 recruiting class and the No. 4 overall prospect from the state of Texas according to 247Sports composite rankings.
The Cypress native is one of the most sought-after recruits in the 2022 cycle and has compiled a lengthy list of offers including Florida, Oregon, USC, Texas A&M, Alabama, Auburn and Georgia among numerous others.
Perkins is reportedly debating between visiting Texas or Oklahoma on June 18. He’s locked in visits with Texas A&M, USC and Florida throughout the month as well.

In 2020, Perkins was a 16-6A first-team all-district selection at both running back and linebacker as a junior for Cy Park High School. He compiled 47 tackles, 14.5 tackles for loss, three sacks and three forced fumbles.
