After falling to Kentucky in Week 5, the Florida Gators have a chance to bounce back at home against a 2-4 Vanderbilt squad.
Of course, the Commodores upset the Gators a year ago, so Billy Napier and Co. are preparing for another battle despite Vanderbilt’s reputation. A second-straight loss to the ‘Dores would be devastating for Napier, but now the staff is a bit more familiar with an opponent it might have overlooked in 2022.
Many of the same faces that appeared in last year’s contest are still there — save for running back Ray Davis who transferred to the UK and gashed UF for nearly 300 yards last week. There are a few freshmen to watch out for as well.
