Well, that was more like it for the Ohio State football team. After a couple of weeks of sputtering on in the red zone on offense, the Buckeyes found their groove again and put up a ton of points against Purdue with a 59-31 statement win in the ‘Shoe.
Yeah, the defense probably gave up some more yards and points than what it wanted to, but at some point, human nature takes over and you’re just not as sharp on defense when things get out of hand. At the end of the day, OSU looked impressive and that will resonate with the media and College Football Playoff Committee as well.
