Steen began his college career at Vanderbilt. There, he spent four seasons before ultimately transferring to Alabama for his final season of eligibility.
The Florida native was a staple at left tackle for the Crimson Tide in 2022. He made 13 starts and received second-team All-SEC recognition. He was a key blocker for the Crimson Tide as he accumulated 25 pancake blocks for the Crimson Tide last season.
