However, the impressive new coaching staff under first-year head coach Steve Sarkisian likely won’t suffer from the poor personnel use and game management that Texas experienced under Tom Herman and Charlie Strong.

Even with eight players declaring for the 2021 NFL draft and several others entering the NCAA transfer portal, Sarkisian has brought a breath of fresh air to this program. He’s an offensive genius who is constantly adapting, and he’s hired the top coaches across the country for their respective position groups.
