The Horns have a talented back, Bijan Robinson, and the Buffs will counter with Jarek Broussard.

The two were highlighted in the Alamo Bowl Tale of the Tape: Running Backs.

So can the Texas defense rise to the challenge once more and slow the running game. It will not be a small task without two of their best run stoppers, Ossai and Graham. However, they have the talent.

DeMarvion Overshown has really grown as a playmaking linebacker; look for him to try to slow Broussard. This year he has averaged 162.6 yards rushing per game. He doesn’t have quite the same impact as a pass catcher, so the defense will need to load up to stop the run in this game.

When Sam Noyer is forced to throw the ball is when this Buffaloes offense struggles. The Longhorns have allowed 135.6 yards per game on the ground. That will be the key matchup on Tuesday.
