First-round OT prospect had official visit with Cardinals

Harrison is expected to be drafted in the first round. He was Oklahoma’s starting left tackle for two seasons.

The Arizona Cardinals could take an offensive lineman at any point in the NFL draft at the end of the month but it is possible they use a first-round pick on one, especially if they trade out of the third overall pick in the draft.

One possible player they could draft in Round 1 is Oklahoma tackle Anton Harrison.

He was in town this week for an official top-30 visit with the Cardinals, he showed on his Instagram story.

Harrison is considered one of the draft’s top tackles and could go in the first round.

He was the Sooners’ starting left tackle for two seasons. He is 6-foot-4 and 315 pounds. he has long 34 1/8-inch arms and is very athletic. He posted a 4.98-second 40 time at the combine and had a 28.5-inch vertical leap and 8-foot-9 broad jump.

He isn’t likely going to be a target for Arizona with the third overall pick, but with the Cardinals expected to trade out of the pick and move back, Harrison could become an intriguing option.
