After becoming the first NFL team to score at least 29 or more points in 3 straight games and lose all 3, the Bears lost again Sunday 27-24 as 2.5-point road underdogs to the Atlanta Falcons. This loss might have come with an even bigger blow as QB Justin Fields injured his shoulder on Chicago’s final drive and was carted to the locker room. He was expected to have an MRI Monday. If he can’t play in Week 12, the Bears will need to rely even more on RB David Montgomery against a solid Jets rush defense.
The Jets are coming off a 10-3 loss at 3.5-point road dogs at the New England Patriots Sunday. They played to a 3-3 stalemate for most of the game until rookie Patriots CB Marcus Jones returned a punt 84 yards for a TD with 5 seconds left. It was the Jets’ 15th consecutive loss in the series.

The Jets will be hoping the Bears defense continues to give up points as they’ll need to score more than 3 points to win games moving forward. The Bears’ biggest concern will be the Fields’ health. He has been playing stellar of late and the Bears want to see him continue to improve as the season goes on.
