The big game is nearly upon us as the Florida Gators and Georgia Bulldogs prepare to take the field this afternoon to decide who is the best in the Southeastern Conference’s East Division. The winner of this game will likely represent the division in the SEC Championship Game against the Alabama Crimson Tide.
The odds have inched towards the Gators all week, who began Monday a 4.5-point underdog which shrunk to 3-points by yesterday. After it was reported late Friday that Georgia will be without preseason All-SEC wideout George Pickens, things are looking even better for UF.
BetMGM oddsmakers now list the Gators as a 2.5-point 3-point underdog (updated 1 p.m. EST), while the over/under has risen slightly again to 54.5.
Kicking off at 3:30 p.m. EST at Jacksonville’s TIAA Bank Field, the game will be broadcast on the SEC on CBS with Brad Nessler, Gary Danielson, and Jamie Erdahl on the call.
