2025 prospect Demetrius Campbell received an offer from Rutgers football on Thursday.

The 6-foot-6, 300-pound offensive lineman from Orlando Christian Prep High School in Flordia has also been offered by Boston College, Iowa State, Louisville, Maryland, Miami, and Rutgers among others.

Last season as a junior, Campbell guided the Orlando Christian Prep Warriors to a 10-2 record and the No. 1 ranking in Flordia’s 1M District 2 standings.

Film Review

Campbell is a physical left tackle who is strong off the line of scrimmage. He attacks the opposing defense well with excellent leverage and hand placement.

The 2025 prospect is familiar with a power running scheme, providing aggressive down blocks while moving opposing defenders. He plays whistle to whistle, pounding defenders into the ground. Off double teams, Campbell moves well on his path to the next level. Also, Campbell kicks steps well when pass blocking, slowing down any speed rushers.

Campbell’s footwork is the area to focus on for this 2025 prospect. He has slow feet when changing directions, making pass protection difficult on the Power Five level. Also, Rutgers Offensive Coordinator Kirk Ciarrocca runs a zone rushing scheme, making technique important when run blocking. Campbell should work on his zone steps and continue to build his lateral quickness as he develops into a Power Five player.
