Buffalo Bills QB Josh Allen is entering his 7th year in the NFL after being selected with the 7th overall pick in the 2018 draft. He has captained the Bills offense and led the team to the playoffs each of the last 5 seasons, falling in the divisional round each of the last 3 appearances. Allen has been selected to the Pro Bowl twice in the last 4 years. Below, we look at Josh Allen’s 2024 fantasy football average draft position (ADP) and where you should draft him.
Entering 2024, he is expected to continue to dominate more as the top-5 QB that he is. The dual-threat signal-caller is intriguing in terms of fantasy value.

Allen’s 19.96 ADP in redraft leagues puts him in the range of the 2nd to 3rd round depending on the size of the league. His ADP makes him the most desirable Bills player on the team.
Allen’s ADP makes him the top QB in front of Philadelphia’s Jalen Hurts (26.98), Kansas City’s Patrick Mahomes (27.26), Baltimore’s Lamar Jackson (35.60) and Houston’s C.J. Stroud (46.39).

Where should you draft Allen?
While the Bills offense lost WR Stefon Diggs to the Texans, Allen’s value will remain just the same. His ability to keep the ball on the ground allows him to gain crucial extra points in fantasy. Buffalo’s offense may look different than in years past, however the added pressure for the team to make a playoff push will be advantageous for Allen and company.
Allen will be steadfast on any fantasy team and will surely make any roster better. It is no surprise he has the top ADP of any QB. He will continue to find connections with RB James Cook and WRs Khalil Shakir, Curtis Samuel and Marquez Valdes-Scantling.
While drafting a QB is typically frowned upon early in a draft, Allen is the exception. Not in the 1st round, but a 2nd-round pick is certainly where you can expect Allen to be considered and even taken. His ability to consistently average 25 or more fantasy points a game is not something that should be overlooked. Do not let Allen fall beyond the 3rd round.
