Buffalo Bills RB Zack Moss heads into his second NFL campaign looking to carve out more of the piece of the backfield pie for himself in 2021. Below, we look at Zack Moss‘ 2021 fantasy football average draft position (ADP) and where you should draft him.
Moss was snagged in the third round of the 2020 NFL Draft, the second consecutive season the Bills spent a third-round pick on a tailback. After single-digit carries in eight of his first nine games, he started to carve into starting RB Devin Singletary‘s workload in December.
Moss racked up 12 or more carries in three of the final four regular-season games.
It will be interesting to see how the Bills split up the backfield touches in 2021. Fantasy managers cannot stand to see a timeshare situation, but that might be exactly what is afoot in Western New York.

The Average Pick position for Moss has been 116.01, which is slightly ahead of Singletary. While the Bills haven’t been specific on their plan and breakdown for carries for the duo, fantasy managers are certainly planning for Moss to do a majority of the heavy lifting in Buffalo, seeing more of the work in the timeshare.

Where should you take Moss in your fantasy football draft?
Fantasy managers cannot stand a timeshare and/or a head coach riding the hot hand. The good news for Moss, and his potential heading into the 2021 season, is that he saw an increased role down the stretch last season, while Singletary seemed to fall out of favor.
You’ll want to start looking to take Moss as soon as Round 8-9 in standard fantasy formats but any earlier is just a gamble not worth taking.
Singletary is still in the picture, and expected to get his chances to star. It’s a battle worth watching very, very closely during training camp and the preseason. If Moss dominates early in the preseason, and “Motor” Singletary is stuck in neutral, the second-year back out of Utah could see his ADP rise.
