WR Darius Slayton
With Eli Manning slated to start again for the Giants, Darius Slayton might be his guy. Against the Eagles in Slayton’s return to the lineup this past week, Slayton out-played Golden Tate and Sterling Shepard. Slayton had five catches for 154 yards and two scores last week. Don’t be afraid to think he won’t do that again, the Giants have the Dolphins this week and at home.
WR Michael Gallup
The Cowboys draw the underwhelming Rams this week. Amari Cooper is healthy and good to go, but will likely draw coverage from Jalen Ramsey. Easy math here. Dak Prescott, in the passing game, should look Michael Gallup’s way plenty.
Sits
WR John Brown
The Bills are only on a one-game losing skid and they faced the Ravens last week. No reason to fret for the team as a whole. But over John Brown’s past two games, he’s gone ice cold, only six catches for 52 yards combined. In Week 12, Brown would have had a dud of an outing if it wasn’t for a late score against the Broncos, when he had two catches for 39 yards. He’s gone quiet and the Bills draw the Steelers this week on the road.
WR Tyler Boyd
It’s almost a staple in this column, but the Patriots do their homework (legally and maybe illegally) and know how to shutdown opposing wideouts. The Bengals draw Stephon Gilmore and the Patriots this week and Boyd will see targets from Andy Dalton, probably, but that might not matter. There’s safer options all over the place, probably already on your bench.
