The Buffalo Bills announced on Monday that New York State will officially allow the team to have a limited number of fans in their venue for the playoffs again on Saturday.
In the Wild Card round last weekend, the Bills hosted the Indianapolis Colts and 6,700 fans through the gate as part of the limited entries allowed. After winning 27-24, the Bills now host the Baltimore Ravens in the divisional round, once again on Saturday.
After selling tickets to the game already on Sunday, the Bills said everything is officially cleared by the state and Gov. Andrew Cuomo on Monday. Co-owners Kim and Terry Pegula released this statement following that approval:
“We felt the energy from our fans last Saturday at the stadium and we know our coaches and players appreciated the support on the field. We have worked with the Governor, his team and BioReference to ensure we will host fans again on Saturday night. They have all been great partners in this process. We want to thank our fans for following the safety guidelines, and remind the fans coming Saturday fans to please wear your mask, socially distance and follow the rules. Be safe. Be smart. Be loud!”
