The Atlanta Falcons claimed offensive tackle Timon Parris off of waivers a week ago, and on Tuesday, the team waived him from the 53-man roster.
The Falcons also released cornerback Josh Hawkins from the 16-man practice squad, which leaves one spot available on both the active roster and practice squad left to fill.
On Monday, it was reported that Atlanta was planning to add WR Laquon Treadwell, one of the surprise cuts from training camp, to the practice squad. Releasing Hawkins frees the team up to add Treadwell.
