Falcons sign WR Auden Tate to one-year deal

A former seventh-round pick out of Florida State back in 2018, Auden Tate spent his first four seasons in Cincinnati.

The Atlanta Falcons made two signings on Monday afternoon, bringing back running back Qadree Ollison on a one-year deal and adding free-agent wide receiver Auden Tate.

A former seventh-round pick out of Florida State back in 2018, Tate spent his first four seasons in Cincinnati. The 25-year-old has a big frame at six-foot-five, 228 pounds.

Over his four-year career, Tate has appeared in 35 games (seven in 2021). The former Bengals wideout caught three of four targets for 34 yards last season. Tate’s best year was in 2019 when he racked up 40 catches for 575 receiving yards and one touchdown.
