Ex-Jets Sam Darnold and Robby Anderson combine for Panthers’ touchdown

Sam Darnold and Robby Anderson are savoring the revenge game against the Jets for the Panthers

That’s the way to get revenge.

Sam Darnold and Robby Anderson had some good moments on awful New York Jets teams. They are together again with the Carolina Panthers and combined to make life miserable for Gang Green on Sunday.

Darnold, traded to the Panthers in the offseason, delivers a beautiful pass to Anderson, who was roaming alone behind the Jets’ secondary. The play was good for 57 yards.

Darnold threw for better than 200 yards in the first half. Oh, he added a 5-yard touchdown run before the break to make it 16-0

On the other side, rookie Zach Wilson, heralded as the person who would do what Darnold couldn’t for the Jets, threw an interception and 10 incompletions before the break.

Jets legend Joe Namath let everyone know how bad it is:

<Matt Ammendola is the Jets’ punter and he is a backup at that.
