It certainly wasn’t pretty, but the Oregon Ducks got the job done on Friday night against the California Golden Bears, winning 52-57.
On a night where Oregon was 0-for-16 from beyond the arc — their first game without a 3-pointer since 2015 — the Ducks used defense and some nice shotmaking down the stretch to leave with a victory. They will now try to knock themselves out of the shooting slump and get ready for a huge game against No. 2 Stanford on Sunday afternoon in Matthew Knight.
