On ESPN’s morning program Get Up on Wednesday, there was a big Buffalo Bills prediction tossed out by one of the world-wide leader’s insiders.
A roundtable of analysts were tossed into a quick-fire question scenario. In that, insider Dan Graziano used a point made by analyst Domonique Foxworth to predict the Bills will be the NFL’s next Super Bowl champion.
Foxworth, who previously was in the bad graces of Bills Mafia, said he thinks the Tennessee Titans will miss the playoffs next season after making it into the dance in 2021 because they won too many close games this year., suggesting luck might not be on their side in the future. In addressing that, Graziano said the Bills don’t win by close margins, so that’s one of the reasons why he thinks Buffalo will win Super Bowl LVI.
“The Bills didn’t even play [close games] they just crushed everyone,” Graziano said.
Furthering his point:
“I like to look at teams that get close, teams that are on the upswing, that get close, and have a bit of a tough playoff loss. Sometimes you see them come back the following year and they have that extra step… I think sometimes you see team build off of that. That experience helps, Buffalo is good enough to do that and I think they’ll be in a position to cash that in.”
While the Bills do actually play close games as their postseason wins against the Indianapolis Colts (27-24) and Baltimore Ravens (17-3) showed, the reference was to Buffalo’s final three games of the regular season. In that chunk, the Bills won by at least 29 points in all of those, pushing lesser opponents away with ease.
This is actually the second time Graziano has gone on the record to predict the Bills as his winner of the 56th Super Bowl next year. In a recent polling of ESPN insiders conducted last week, he did so as well.
