With the 2024 NBA Playoffs officially starting on Saturday, ESPN released an awesome (if a bit familiar) promo linking the history of the sport with the stars of today.
The sports network shared a highlight reel that spliced videos of legacy NBA stars matched with their current counterparts on various teams, like Los Angeles Clippers star Kawhi Leonard throwing up a dunk to Clippers legend Blake Griffin.
This is a really cool promo to get you excited for the playoffs, but it does remind us of the similar advertisements that TNT used to cut in the past.
Either way, if this doesn’t get you excited for the playoffs, we’re not sure what will.
