All eyes are going to be on Eugene, Oregon in Week 7 as the Oregon Ducks get set to host the Ohio State Buckeyes for one of the biggest regular-season games of the 2024 college football season.
This matchup is getting the star treatment, with ESPN’s College GameDay announcing that they will be in Eugene for the primetime kickoff on Saturday afternoon.
This will be the 31st time that GameDay has featured the Ducks, and the 12th time that ESPN will set up shop in Eugene for a monumental showdown. When featured on College GameDay, the Ducks are 18-12 overall, with a 8-3 record at home.
This matchup between Oregon and Ohio State has been circled on the calendar ever since it was announced, and both teams have made good on their preseason promises, entering the showdown unbeaten and ranked in the top-10 of the nation.
Oregon’s Dillon Gabriel and Tez Johnson will look to find a way through the Buckeyes’ vaunted defense, while Jabbar Muhammad and the Oregon defense try to find an answer for true freshman star WR Jeremiah Smith, and the rest of the Ohio State offense.

More details will be revealed soon as to where the College GameDay show is going to set up on campus, but in years past, they have used the quad as their stomping grounds, with the Lillis Business Complex as the backdrop.
We will also learn in the coming days who the guest picker is likely to be for the show, but put your money on celebrity Ducks like Sabrina Ionescu — who was the picker in 2022 — Ty Burrell, Payton Pritchard, or Neil Everrett.
