English Premier League: Everton at Brighton odds, picks and prediction

Analyzing Saturday’s Everton at Brighton odds and lines, with EPL picks and predictions.

In an action-packed English Premier League weekend, Everton (1 win, 0 losses, 1 draw) will travel to take on Brighton (2-0-0). The match will be held at The Amex Stadium with kickoff set for 10 a.m. ET. Below, we preview the Everton vs. Brighton odds and lines, and make our best EPL bets, picks and predictions.

Brighton and Everton are two of the eight EPL teams still undefeated entering Week 3 play.

Everton is coming off a 2-2 draw with Leeds United Saturday. It defeated Southampton in the league’s opening weekend. Twenty-four-year-old English F Dominic Calvert-Lewin leads the team with 2 goals.

As for Brighton, it has been a pleasant surprise so far in taking down Burnley and Watford. Watford is a quality side as well, defeating Aston Villa 3-2 in the EPL opener.

Prediction

Brighton 2, Everton 1

Money line (ML)

“LEAN” to BRIGHTON (+130) as the best bet on the money line. Twenty-five-year-old F Neal Maupay has led the charge, scoring in both outings, but it’s been more than just one solid forward.

Brighton had more possession and more shots on target than each of its first two opponents. At plus-money value, this is a solid play.

However, BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE (-110) is a bet I’d also take.

Everton and Brighton both scored at least 2 goals in the four games they’ve played. There’s no reason to think they’ll be completely shut down Saturday.

Over/Under (O/U)

BET on the OVER 2.5 (+125) as the best bet on the table. As noted, both teams have been scoring well this season. Everton’s two matches both combined for 4 goals.

For Brighton, it has had a 2-goal game and a 3-goal game, combining both sides. While Brighton has shown competence defensively, Everton’s offense should be able to break it down.

Everton will be the best opponent Brighton has faced, so there’s no telling if the defense will hold up quite the same way it has through the first two games of the season.

I’d bet the two teams get ample opportunity to net a combined 3 goals.
