Eli Manning went undercover as the world’s oldest freshman walk-on at Penn State

This “Chad Powers” fella may have a future as the quarterback of the Giants.

This “Chad Powers” may have a future in the NFL one day. Maybe as the quarterback of the New York Giants, perhaps?

In the midst of cohosting the very popular ManningCast Monday Night Football program for ESPN, Eli Manning has also been moonlighting as a college football walk-on in his spare time. On Monday, ESPN released a new episode of “Eli’s Places” with Manning headed to Happy Valley to try his hand at being a walk-on.

After clueing in Penn State Nittany Lions head coach James Franklin to his plan, Manning then hired a makeup crew to turn him into the world’s oldest freshman walk-on to fool the team into believing his story!

The dedication here from Manning is just perfect. And here’s the full video of Manning’s trip to Happy Valley, in case you want to watch his full transformation into freshman wunderkind “Chad Powers”.

Just Eli being Eli!
