Khalil Tate signing undrafted free agent deal with Philadelphia Eagles

The Philadelphia Eagles are turning into a quarterback factory and the NFC East champions just added another signal-caller to the roster, signing former Arizona star quarterback Khalil Tate to an undrafted free agent deal.

Tate with all his athletic abilities and talent, was inconsistent at Arizona.

Last season, Tate threw for 1,954 yards, 14 touchdowns and 11 interceptions, while rushing for 413 yards and three touchdowns for Kevin Sumlin’s 4-8 Wildcats.

Tate shined as a sophomore in 2017 with 1,591 yards, 14 touchdowns and nine interceptions, while also rushing for 1,411 yards and 12 touchdowns on 153 rushing attempts.

Tate’s best season as a passer came in 2018 when he threw for 2,530 yards, 26 touchdowns and eight picks.
