Eagles players and NFC East rivals react to Saquon Barkley’s 3-year, $37M Deal

We’re looking at the reactions from Micah Parsons, Kayvon Thibodeaux and others after Saquon Barkley agreed to a 3-year, $37.75 million deal with the Philadelphia Eagles

Saquon Barkley is staying in the NFC East and a short drive up the New Jersey Turnpike from New York after agreeing to a 3-year, $37.5 million deal with the Philadelphia Eagles.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the contract could be worth up to $46.75 million and includes $26 million fully guaranteed at signing.

Barkley now beats his franchise tag number and has a maximum average-per-year salary of $15.833 million, which would be the second-highest for a running back in NFL history.

In 14 games last season, Barkley logged 962 yards and six rushing touchdowns, 41 receptions for 280 yards, and four touchdowns for the 6-11 Giants.

The Eagles were already stout offensively, and the NFL world reacted to the Barkley news.
