Saquon Barkley is staying in the NFC East and a short drive up the New Jersey Turnpike from New York after agreeing to a 3-year, $37.5 million deal with the Philadelphia Eagles.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the contract could be worth up to $46.75 million and includes $26 million fully guaranteed at signing.
Barkley now beats his franchise tag number and has a maximum average-per-year salary of $15.833 million, which would be the second-highest for a running back in NFL history.
