The Philadelphia Eagles received some good news on Thursday when it was revealed that Genard Avery was listed as day to day with a lower-body injury.
NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport is reporting that Avery suffered a bone bruise in his knee and should be good to go for the season opener.

Avery was acquired by the Eagles from the Cleveland Browns for a fourth-round pick during the 2019 season.
Avery (illness) didn’t practice Tuesday, after leaving Monday’s practice early due to an undisclosed injury.
