Eagles agree to deal with CB Greedy Williams

After signing Darius Slay to a two-year extension, the Philadelphia Eagles have agreed to a deal with free-agent cornerback Greedy Williams

The Eagles added another cornerback to the roster on Thursday night, agreeing to a deal with former LSU star and Browns second-round pick, Greedy Williams according to Mary Kay Cabot.

Williams spent the first four seasons of his career in Cleveland, but he’s been injury prone and missed the entire 2020 season with a shoulder injury.

This past season, Williams saw action in 11 games, making 11 tackles.

With Philadelphia, he’ll look to fit in a deep cornerback rotation and could find a role on special teams.
