Dylan Crews wins Bobby Bragan National Collegiate Slugger of the Year Award

Crews was chosen as the top offensive player in the country.

I have said many times this season that I believed that [autotag]Paul Skenes[/autotag] was the best pitcher in the country and that [autotag]Dylan Crews[/autotag] was the best hitter in the country. It seems the award voters agree.

Crews was chosen as the winner of the [autotag]Bobby Bragan National Collegiate Slugger of the Year[/autotag]. Crews has a .433 batting average this season with 17 homers and 64 RBI. During the regional and super regionals, Crews went 11-for-19 (.580) batting average with two homers and eight RBI as he helped lead the Tigers to Omaha.

Crews is projected to be the No. 1 pick in the upcoming 2023 MLB draft. His college career is not over yet though as he is trying to lead LSU to another national championship. That run begins on Saturday night as the Tigers take on the Tennessee Volunteers in Omaha at 6 p.m. CT.

The Tigers’ side of the bracket consists of Stanford, Wake Forest and Tennessee.
