Ducks Wire discusses USC-Oregon women’s basketball game on Friday

We talked to @Ducks_Wire about USC-Oregon men’s hoops on Thursday. The Trojans and Ducks also meet in WBB on Friday.

We did this for the USC-Oregon men’s basketball game coming up on Thursday, so why not do the same for the Trojans-Ducks women’s basketball game on Friday night in the Galen Center? It’s a USC-Oregon week of hoops, so it’s completely natural to talk to our friends at Ducks Wire.

We asked Ducks Wire analyst Donald Smalley about the struggles of Oregon women’s basketball over the past several weeks:

*

Trojans Wire:

“What the heck has happened to this Oregon team over the past month?”

Donald Smalley, Ducks Wire:

“That’s the million dollar question. It’s as if they all forgot how to shoot the ball all at the same time. This team led the conference in 3-pointers made and then went 0-16 vs Colorado. They’re getting the same shots. They’re just not hitting them. And then vs Utah, they found their stroke, but then forgot every defensive concept in the book and gave up 100 points for the first time in the Kelly Graves era.”
