The Oregon Duck had a massive month of recruiting in June, hosting some of the very best prospects in the nation in Eugene for both official and unofficial visits ahead of the 2024 season getting underway.
It appears some of their hard work is getting close to paying off, with some major commitments coming off the board in the coming days and weeks.
On Tuesday, a massive prediction was made, with On3’s Justin Hopkins giving his opinion that 5-star safety Trey McNutt, who was in Eugene for a visit last weekend, would commit to the Ducks.
McNutt, an Ohio State legacy player, is rated as the No. 1 safety in the 2025 class, and the No. 20 overall player. His addition to Oregon’s class this cycle would be massive, and a big hit to the Buckeyes who have been though to be the leader in the clubhouse for his commitment.
