After a poor showing against the Kansas City Chiefs last week, Denver Broncos rookie quarterback Drew Lock had a bounceback performance in a 27-17 win over the Detroit Lions at home in Week 16.

Lock went 25-of-33 passing for 192 yards with one touchdown pass and no interceptions, good for a 99.6 passer rating. Lock now has a 3-1 record as a starter in the NFL.

With Denver leading 20-17, running back Phillip Lindsay clinched the game with a 27-yard touchdown run late in the fourth quarter. Lindsay rushed for 109 yards on Sunday and is now just 42 yards away from a 1,000-yard season.

Fellow running back Royce Freeman also scored on a touchdown run and kicker Brandon McManus added two field goals in the win.

Up next for the Broncos is a home game against the Oakland Raiders to close out the season in Week 17. Denver and Oakland will be competing for second place in the AFC West because the Chiefs have already clinched the division. The Los Angeles Chargers will finish fourth.
