Draymond Green made a clutch offensive rebound in Game 4 despite another awful NBA Finals game

To his credit, this was a huge possession.

Draymond Green has had a rough NBA Finals so far.

During Game 3, he fouled out and scored just two points while the Celtics cruised. Green didn’t fare much better with the Warriors (+3.5 underdogs) on the brink of having their backs up against the wall in Game 4.

Green started struggling so much on Friday night at the TD Garden that Steve Kerr decided to bench him with 7:32 left in the fourth quarter. Guys like Steph Curry needed more help. The Warriors couldn’t afford to keep Green in while he works through his struggles and then go down 3-1 in the series.

To Green’s credit, he didn’t pout. He went back into the game with 3:41 left overall and helped seal a big-time win in Game 4 for Golden State. How? By skying up for a rebound to save a possession and making a nifty pass in sequence:

See, now that’s why the Warriors have played in six NBA Finals in the last eight years. Even when their big-name players like Green struggle, they never throw in the towel.
