Does Payton Pritchard still fit on the Boston Celtics after the Malcolm Brogdon trade?

The backcourt rotation is a bit crowded at the moment.

Does backup combo guard Payton Pritchard still fit on the Boston Celtics after the team acquired veteran point guard Malcolm Brogdon from the Indiana Pacers in a trade sending deep rotation players to the Pacers earlier this offseason?

With a stacked guard rotation also including starting floor general Marcus Smart and reserve combo guard Derrick White, Pritchard may be the odd man out when it comes to getting regular playing time in the looming 2022-23 regular season. With such a crowded backcourt, the Celtics might be able to carve out some extra time by bumping Brogdon or White into a third-guard position in smaller lineups, but will that take away from the size the Celtics were able to use to their advantage defensively last season?

NBA insider from The Athletic Jared Weiss joins the host of CLNS Media’s “Celtics Beat” podcast Adam Kaufman to discuss if Pritchard still fits with Boston next season.
