Derrick Henry got a dose of his own medicine on massive hit by Giants linebacker

Derrick Henry meet Tae Crowder.

By the time I hit publish on this, Derrick Henry will probably have put a defender on his back via his trademark stiff arm or a truck move. But until then, the New York Giants have bragging rights over the linebacker-sized running back in their matchup Sunday.

Henry, in a rare moment, was put on his back with a massive hit.

On a Tennessee Titans drive in the second quarter that reached the red zone, Henry made the mistake of leaving his feet to hurdle the traffic in front of him. That allowed Giants middle linebacker Tae Crowder, who’s listed as two inches shorter and 12 pounds lighter than Henry, to hit the back with the type of force he’s used to dishing out.

The hit was a small consolation prize for the Giants, who still gave up a field goal on the drive to go down 13-0 in the first half.
