Danilo Gallinari on the Boston Celtics’ team chemistry

“Everybody knows their role, which is key for a winning team,” said the Italian swingman.

The Boston Celtics and Danilo Gallinari seemed like a hand-in-glove fit heading into the 2022-23 NBA season. Then the Italian swingman was injured in FIBA qualifier play, sidelining the veteran forward until at least the 2023 postseason.

But Gallinari has made it a point to stay close to the Celtics while he rehabs his knee in the hopes of joining a club whose chemistry he has helped forge on the sidelines.

“Everybody knows their role, which is key for a winning team,” Gallinari said in a recent episode of the team-produced “View Form The Rafters” podcast.

To hear Gallinari talk about his point of view on watching the Celtics become the well-oiled machine they have been on the court for much of the season, take a look at the clip embedded below.
