The Dallas Cowboys do not have a quarterback problem. In fact, quarterback finally appears to be the absolute least problematic position on the entire club. Dak Prescott has been touted as an MVP candidate in this space as early as Week 3 of the season. Cowboys Wire dove deeper than any other outlet to present the case a few weeks ago, and now the world is catching up.

Prescott, along with Baltimore’s Lamar Jackson and Seattle’s Russell Wilson, are the three leading candidates for the season’s top honor. For Week 11, Prescott is also among three candidates for high-level acknowledgement. He’s been named a finalist for Fed Ex’s Air Player of the Week award.

Prescott checked in with a 29 for 46 performance, throwing for 444 yards and three touchdowns for a 116.6 passer rating. He’ll have to fight off Minnesota’s Kirk Cousins and the San Francisco 49ers Jimmy Garoppolo to win the award.

This is the second time this season Prescott has been nominated. He lost to Jackson after his 400-plus-yard performance against the New York Giants in Week 1.

Prescott currently leads the NFL in passing yardage (3,221), and is second in passing touchdowns (21). He also leads the league in yards-per-attempt (8.8), Defense-adjusted yards over replacement and is second in QBR and DVOA.
