The Oklahoma Sooners hadn’t lost to the [autotag]Kansas Jayhawks[/autotag] since the Clinton administration. Even though this Kansas team is much improved, and the Oklahoma Sooners are still in the midst of building the program in Brent Venables’ image, it was still a shocking result.
It was as shocking as the Sooners losing to Iowa State during the Lincoln Riley era.
Anytime an upset like this happens, you know you’re going to hear about it from your non-OU friends and family. And that happened on Sunday afternoon.
Every time the Dallas Cowboys win, they release “Sounds from the Sideline,” a video highlighting the players’ reactions to big plays and big moments. Often, the video team captures conversations between players, allowing fans to get some insight into what happens on the sidelines and the relationships between teammates.
On Sunday, during the Dallas win over Los Angeles, they captured video of former Jayhawk Dorance Armstrong and Nittany Lion Micah Parsons giving former Sooner [autotag]Neville Gallimore[/autotag] a hard time on the sideline.

Really, it was Parsons instigating things and Armstrong simply staring at Gallimore as the former Oklahoma defensive tackle ignored the taunts with attempts to focus on the game.
Armstrong didn’t really need to say anything as the Kansas Jayhawks said all they needed to on Saturday in their win over Oklahoma.
Unfortunately for Gallimore and Sooners fans, that loss is going to be hanging over their heads for who knows how long. There’s no telling if or when the Sooners and Jayhawks will meet up on the gridiron again, with Oklahoma headed to the SEC in 2024.
Though it’s a tough pill to swallow for Sooners fans, Parsons and Armstrong’s trolling of Gallimore is also what makes college football so great.
