Colts’ Evan Hull ‘could miss some time’ due to knee injury

Evan Hull is dealing with a knee injury and could miss some time.

Indianapolis Colts running back Evan Hull suffered a knee injury during the 31-21 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars and there’s a chance he could miss time because of it.

Though he didn’t go into details, head coach Shane Steichen told reporters Monday that Hull could be off the field for some time.

“Yeah, he’s just dealing with a knee. He could miss some time, we’ll see. We’re always just looking through those things. We’ll have an update later,” Steichen said Monday.

The Colts have major depth issues in the backfield as Jonathan Taylor is currently on the PUP list and Zack Moss is working his way back from a forearm injury he suffered in training camp.

Meanwhile, Deon Jackson took 13 carries for 14 rushing yards in the Week 1 loss to the Jaguars.

Hopefully, this injury isn’t too extensive and the rookie can get back on the field soon, but there’s a chance the Colts will be without him for some time.
