The Colorado Avalanche (31-10-4) play the third part of a three-game set against the St. Louis Blues (20-19-6) Monday. Puck drop at Enterprise Center is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET. Below, we analyze the Avalanche-Blues odds and lines, with NHL picks and predictions.

The Avalanche won Thursday’s game by a 4-2 score, and then they fell 5-3 as moderate favorites Saturday. While Colorado scored at least three goals for the fifth consecutive game, and seventh time in eight outings, it saw its five-game win streak come to a conclusion.

The Blues slapped the brakes on a three-game losing skid in Saturday’s battle. St. Louis has scored at least two goals in each of its past seven games, and it’s averaging 4.0 goals per game across the past six outings.

Avalanche at Blues: Odds, lines, predictions and picks

Prediction

Avalanche 5, Blues 3

Money line (ML)

The AVALANCHE (-155) are moderate favorites as they look to bounce back from Saturday’s loss. They’re a good play, too, as they haven’t lost in consecutive games in regulation since Feb. 22-24.

Against the spread (ATS)

At plus-money, the AVALANCHE -1.5 (+155) are worth a look. In their recent five-game win streak, they covered the puck line in four of those victories, including Thursday’s series opener against the Blues.

Conversely, St. Louis has failed to cover the puck line in five of its past eight losses as an underdog.

Over/Under (O/U)

The OVER 6 (-105) is 3-0-1 across the past four games for the Avalanche, and 6-2-1 in the previous nine as a road favorite. The Over is 3-1-1 in the past five at home for the Blues, while going 3-1-1 in their past five as underdogs.

The Over is also 3-0-1 across the past four head-to-head meetings in St. Louis.
