Several college football coaches received raises and contract extensions this offseason.
Texas’ Steve Sarkisian and Florida State’s Mike Norvell were awarded new contracts following a strong 2023 season, while Kalen DeBoer took over for Nick Saban at Alabama which included a top-five contract.
Sarkisian became one of the top three highest-paid coaches in the country with a salary of $10.3 million in 2024. He trails only Clemson’s Dabo Swinney and Georgia’s Kirby Smart.
Here’s a look at the top 10 highest-paid coaches in college football for the 2024 season. Just missing the cut were Penn State’s James Franklin ($8.5M) and Oklahoma State’s Mike Gundy ($7.75M).
