We’re only a few weeks removed from the 2022 NFL draft, but many national media experts are already looking ahead to next year’s three-day event.
Although Texas did not have a single player selected in the 2022 NFL draft, the odds look much better for 2023. In fact, one of their players is widely projected to be taken off of the board in the first round.
Bijan Robinson appears to be the consensus No. 1 running back prospect for the 2023 NFL draft. Tank Bigsby (Auburn), Jahmyr Gibbs (Alabama) and Zach Evans (Ole Miss) are other names that get mentioned to watch at the position this season.
College Football New’s Pete Fiutak recently ranked the top 15 running back prospects for the 2023 NFL draft. Three Big 12 players made the list, along with a couple from the Pac-12, Big Ten and SEC.
