College Football News Preview 2020: Top Indiana Hoosiers Players
Best Indiana Hoosiers Offensive Player
QB Michael Penix, Soph.
A huge recruit for the program back in 2018, he got banged up last season after hitting 69% of his passes for 1,394 yards and ten touchdowns with four picks, and running for 119 yards and two scores in his seven games.
The 6-3, 218-pound left-hander is back from his shoulder injury and should make the program his over the next three years. With the size, arm, and mobility – and unteachable accuracy – he has superstar potential if he can stay in one piece.

Best Indiana Hoosiers Defensive Player
LB Micah McFadden, Jr.
While the 6-2, 239-pounder isn’t the splashiest of players from his spot in the middle, he’s always around the ball and he’s become a stat-sheet filler over the last two years. He led the team with 61 stops to go along with two picks and ten tackles for loss, and now he knows what he’s doing.
