Citrus Bowl victory showcased potential for a dominant 2020 season

And in my opinion, the second half of the Citrus Bowl showcased a team that Alabama fans had hoped to see all season.

Although the Crimson Tide struggled in the first half of the Citrus Bowl on Wednesday, especially defensively, Alabama was able to regain composure and confidence in the second half as they went on beat the Michigan Wolverines, 35-16.

And in my opinion, the second half of the Citrus Bowl showcased a team that Alabama fans had hoped to see all season. The Crimson Tide scored 3 touchdowns in the second half, while not allowing Michigan to score one time. It was as if Alabama came into the second half an entirely different team.

The team that played in the second half is a team that is capable of winning big games, and honestly, capable of winning a national championship. In the second half alone, Alabama was able to not only shut down Michigan from putting any more points on the board, but they were able to make BIG defensive stops, and even create turnovers.

Throughout the second half, the energy felt different, and the defense felt alive.

Maybe it’s the beginning of a new decade, a new year, a new beginning.

Regardless, by the end of the game, I felt more than encouraged that Alabama will be back in 2020.

With the talent they have returning, and the new recruits coming to Tuscaloosa, Alabama has the tools to be a success, and to have a very successful season.

If today was any indication of what the future holds, I can assure you, Alabama is VERY alive and well. They’re hungry, humbled, motivated, and they’re on a mission to prove that the dynasty isn’t anywhere near finished.
