“We have a good team and good players,” Tennessee head coach Chris Woodruff said after defeating Wake Forest. “Where we started back in February, to where we are now, we’re just trying to peak at the right time. In these sports like basketball, baseball and our sport, you just try to get rolling at the right time. We’ve got an experienced group of guys, and so far we are doing well.”
Tennessee will host South Carolina in the Knoxville Super Regional on Saturday. First serve between the Vols and Gamecocks is slated for 4 p.m. EDT at Barksdale Stadium.
