Chris Spielman auctioning off personal memorabilia to help aid those fighting COVID-19

Former Ohio State linebacker Chris Spielman is auctioning off personal memorabilia to raise money to aid those that are fighting COVID-19.

Extraordinary times require extraordinary measures, and that’s exactly the mode former Ohio State linebacker Chris Spielman is operating under.

You don’t have to look far to realize Spielman’s work in the community. From his work with the Stephanie Spielman Fund For Breast Cancer Research, to how he conducts himself, to his faith and beliefs he makes known, he is a man that gets the big picture.

And now, he’s putting his words into action.

Spielman is auctioning off some of his own personal memorabilia in an effort to raise money to benefit those that are fighting this COVID-19 health crisis. He’s first item auctioned off was his personal All-Madden Team jacket. Other items have included a 1984 Big Ten Championship ring and a game-worn Buffalo Bills jersey.

There are reportedly other items that Spielman will be putting up for auction, with all proceeds going to the COVID-19 pandemic. You can continue to check his personal Ebay page to see other items that end up being bid on.

What a great gesture for a fantastic ambassador for Ohio State. Scratch that. What a fantastic thing to do for a great ambassador for humanity. We tip our cap to you Spiels.
