It was the year Georgia sports fans had been waiting for our whole lives.Β Not one, but two Georgia sports teams were crowned champions of their league during the 2021-22 seasons.
The Atlanta Braves kicked things off when they won their first World Series since 1995 after beating out the Houston Astros four games to two.
Then, the Georgia Bulldogs kept the magic alive by beating the Alabama Crimson Tide 33-18 in Indianapolis for their first title since 1980.
To honor the two great accomplishments, the Atlanta Braves released one of the greatest short videos you’ll ever see: ‘State of Champions.’
Narrated by former Georgia quarterback DJ Shockley, the video celebrates the Dawgs’ and Braves’ feats as world champions.
