This, really, is nothing new for Charles Barkley.
I don’t just mean calling out someone, which he does on a seemingly daily basis. No, I mean calling Skip Bayless an idiot.
The Hall of Famer did it back in 2013. In 2020, he used harsher words to rip on the Undisputed star.
And on Thursday, after Game 1 of the NBA Finals, he didn’t name Bayless in a mini-rant, but we all knew who he meant when he said he read an article about how “if you work with a damn idiot, they’ll buy you out.” He went on to joke about Kenny Smith in that context.
In case you didn’t know: This refers to the report that Shannon Sharpe is getting a buyout from FS1 to leave Undisputed:

Too funny. No official word from Sharpe yet, but fans are blaming Bayless for an argument they had involving Tom Brady, and they’re already coming up with names to replace Sharpe. Meanwhile, check out Sharpe’s liked tweets!
